| Hi Guys,
I don't know about you but my local central library is the pits. Outdated books, science section a joke, psychology section filled with Derek Acorah, Sylvia Brown, UFOlogy etc
I am attempting in my very small way to redress this balance by donating to my library my sceptical/science books. Radical yes, maybe even whacky, some of those cost a pretty penny, but I find it hard to stand back and watch the shelves of my local lending library fill up with more crap creaing staunch believers and lining pockets of the greedy with royalty payments.
So I hope to see some good science/scepticism books on the shelving alongside the woo brigade and ,maybe, just maybe, wise some people up to the evidence based reading instead of having fiction in the science section.
I hope some of you guys will follow suit in this passion of mine,
Regards,
Den. | |
