Amazing! Nothing quite an impartial press. Local newspapers frequently dismay me for reasons just like this.

Now I do not read the papers however I check the gazette onine as they have a ghost hunter group that writes regular articles. I want to redress the balance but no go.

I would try fortean times but I have looked at 3 of their mags and I cant read them, far too bizarre for my tastes, yet im not of the standards of 'new scientist'.

Wonder if theres any sceptic mags about looking for newbies that require no pay Smile

Regards,

Den.

Interesting you should mention Fortean Times. Before I really got into the whole scepticism thing I would pick up a copy of this magazine whenever I saw it in a newsagent. I felt it was a more serious version than the semi-pornographic Bizarre magazine. It always seemed to have a sceptic bent and did a fair amount of debunking. How naive I was!

The Forteans are one of the main areas of interest concentrated on in "Fads and Fallacies", which was published back in the 1950s.
